English Tea on the Porch I'm Pat Sayers and I love gardening. My garden is located on the north shore of Long Island, New York, up in the hills of Huntington. We're in zone 6, but have lots of freeze thaw cycles, so our plants have to be not only hardy but vigorous as well. I love building "secret garden rooms" and have a maze of them on just over an acre. I love chatting and accept speaking engagements here in the US and in Canada. Topics are varied, from 'Building Garden Rooms', to 'Old Farmers Tales and Tricks', 'Sex in the Garden' which is actually propagating and hybridizing techniques, a program about 'Daylily Oldies but Goodies', 'Creating Huge Floral Arrangements from the Garden', as well as hands on garden workshops.
